Cosplay fans can be added into several different types of fans but there are only 2 I will be discussing.
1. The "normal" fans
The "normal" fans would be your everyday fans, the ones commenting on some of your pictures, complementing you, going up to you at cons and taking either a picture with you or of you, the "normal" fans can be non-cosplayers or even cosplayers as the pictures below show. The "normal" fans won't do anything extreme really, they will most likely talk to you for a bit or not at all. These fans are pretty cool and will get along with you well even if it's just to take a quick picture. Each "normal" fan still has a different personality so don't go thinking 'oh so the normal fans won't really hold a conversation with me' or what not because they might you never know, there isn't much to say about the normal fans really, they are your everyday fans.
I feel I should point out that the "normal" does not describe the fans personality so please do take note of that. The "normal" just refers to the more common and regular fans.

2. The "SUPER" fans
The "SUPER" fans are the scary yet in a weird way respected ones, they will go all out for there favorite cosplayers as you can see from the picture below, this fan made a poster for her favorite cosplay group, they take the extra mile for cosplayers they admire and simply spending a moment with their favorite cosplayers often means the world to them. I am truly shocked by these fans as I know a lot of fans would be to shy to go so far and still be very proud so I respect those that can be so proud about their fandom. These fans are feared because of the fact that they do not have a limit, I am not saying they will stalk you and lock you in their closet but rather they would do anything to make you realize how much they truly do like/admire you as a cosplayer (do not get the wrong idea from the word like). Let's use this Miku cosplayer as an example notice how happy she looks, I mean put yourself in her shoes for a moment...
You created a poster for your favorite cosplay group and you finally show them, normally that is all there is to it but not this time because not only was this fan thanked for the poster (see blog post here: http://yamakichiya.wordpress.com/2012/10/17/rage-expo-cosplay/ ) but in a way these cosplayers recognized this girl as their fan.
I do not know about anyone else but I think these fans deserve a round of applause! Why? Because they go the extra mile. I won't say I know any of these fans but the day I meet one I will surely applaud that person for the dedication they put into just being a fan. I greatly respect these kinds of fans but then you get the cosplayers who do not appreciate this and that is a whole other story for a later blog perhaps.

Appreciate your fans no matter if they are "normal" or "SUPER" fans because they will always be there to support you.
